- The growth of the insurance sector in the first quarter of 2021 compared to the same period last year was 15.1% - corresponding to an increase of R$ 12.18 billion - according to the monthly summary published by SUSEP this week.

- The total amount of accumulated premiums, compared to the same period in 2020, of injury insurance registered an increase of 11.8%.

- Personal insurance raised R$54.05 billion, showing an increase of 20.2% compared to the first quarter of 2020.

- Cyber risk insurance totaled the highest rise of all areas, reaching 176.6% growth in premiums.
