Law No. 14,034 was amended on June 17 and Law No. 14,174 comes into force with the following changes:
- Ticket reimbursement for flights canceled between March 19, 2020 and December 31, 2021 will be reimbursed by the airline within 12 months.
- The passenger who cancels the flight for the same period mentioned above may choose to receive a refund and may be charged a contractual fine or obtain credit from the carrier for the amount corresponding to the air ticket, without any discount on the contract.
- The refund, rescheduling and reaccommodation of the flight is guaranteed regardless of the payment method used at the time of purchase.
